GoRA fills this gap by addressing three critical deficits:
The Implementation Deficit
National health and development plans often fail to reach "hard-to-reach" rural areas in districts like Ntchisi, Dowa, and Dedza. GoRA provides the local presence and technical expertise to deliver services—like maternal health and child protection—directly to the household level.
The Empowerment Deficit
Despite legal protections, marginalized groups (specifically women and adolescent girls) still face deep-rooted cultural barriers, such as a 46% child marriage rate and limited land ownership. GoRA bridges this by combining rights-based advocacy with economic tools like VSL groups and vocational training.
